Race Description

Timing

  • This race will be chip timed.
  • Please follow posted guidelines and race staff advice on wearing your race bib to ensure the best possible timing accuracy.
  • Chip timing will be used to time the races. Your bib must be visible on the front of your shirt.

Goodies

  • Every race entrant will receive a quality race tee.
  • Morning coffee and post-race snacks will be made available.

Packet Pick Up and Registration

  • Packet pick-up and late registration (IF SPOTS AVAILABLE, cash only) on Friday evening, August 25, 2017, from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at KickStand Kafé (719 N. Humphreys Flagstaff, AZ).
  • Race day packet pick-up begins at 6:30 AM on Saturday morning at the Arizona Nordic Village.
  • Race day registration (cash only) will be available ONLY if spots are available.
  • The course will be marked with surveyors ribbon, pin flags, and directional arrows.

Aid Stations

  • There are three aid stations for the 15K and two for the 5K.  They’ll be stocked with first aid supplies, water, sport drink, and snacks.  Please see the race maps for locations.

Camping

  • If you’re from out of town save on costs, eliminate your race morning commute, and experience high-mountain summer camping.  Yurt, hut and tent camping is available just yards from the start line at Arizona Nordic Village (formerly Flagstaff Nordic Center). For yurt or hut camping please visit the camping section.
  • Please note that there are a limited number of yurt, hut, and tent sites available. Tent camping is available at special events only. All camping at the Arizona Nordic Village is available on a first come, first serve basis.
  • There are other camping opportunities nearby in the Coconino National Forest.
