Questions About Our Ski Lessons?
Our Classic and Skate Ski Lessons come in a standard, family, or private lesson package. Lessons are 90-minutes and are in groups of 1-10 people. Our group lessons are geared toward beginning skiers, although advanced instruction is available depending on the group’s needs.
Standard Lesson Package:
Cost: $60/person
Package Includes:
✔A full-day trail pass for one person
✔An equipment rental package for each family member (includes skis, boots, and poles).
✔A 90-minute group lesson with individual focus led by a kind and experienced instructor.
Family Lesson Package:
Cost: $140/family of 3 + $20/additional immediate family member
Package Includes:
✔A trail pass for each family member, which is good for one day
✔An equipment rental package for each family member, which includes skis, boots, and poles.
✔A 90-minute group lesson with individual focus led by a kind and experienced instructor.
Private Lesson Package:
Cost: $90/person
Lessons Include:
✔A 60-minute lesson led by a kind and experienced instructor.

Arrival:
Please arrive 30-minutes early to your lesson. Traffic can sometimes back up on HWY 180 on the weekends, please plan accordingly and give yourself plenty of time to travel safely. It typically takes a family of four at least 30 minutes to fill out their rental forms, get all of their own gear and snow clothes on, and get their ski rentals from the yurt.
What to Bring:
Please dress for the elements. Temperatures can get as low as 0°F in the winter, however new and experienced skiers alike will often work up a sweat during their lesson.
We suggest you wear light, breathable layers underneath and warm layers on top so you have the option to shed layers as you warm up.

- Waterproof gloves or mittens
- Hat
- Sunscreen
- Water

- Small backpack or fanny pack to keep water in
- Face mask

Your trail pass is good until closing.
Cancellation Policy:
- When we cancel: Occasionally we are forced to cancel ski lessons due to lack of snow. In this case we will fully refund your payment.
- When you cancel: In order to receive a full refund you must cancel at least 24 hours before scheduled lesson. Any cancellations received day of will not be refunded. We will not refund payments for weather related issues.
You’ll find group lessons for Beginning Classic and Beginning Skate lessons. For more advanced lessons, please schedule a private lesson at least 3 days in advance by calling the lodge 928-220-0550 and reserving a 1:30 pm slot.

An excellent way to have fun and burn calories! The staff were awesome in accommodating me and my party. There is something for everyone who just wants to enjoy natural outdoor activity at the Nordic Village.
The four of us went snowshoeing today and it was great, will definitely be coming back.
